Waldorf Handwork Basics

Our Handwork course is a comprehensive program, aimed at enhancing Fine Motor Skills, developing confidence and fostering creativity, in children ages 5 to 7+ years old.

It's particularly beneficial for students preparing for First Grade, or for those in their second year of Kindergarten – in addition to students supported by Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) who may need additional support with Fine Motor Development/Dexterity.

This program is also very useful for Pediatric Occupational Therapists, in their “Table Top” Occupational Therapy work, with young children, strengthening Fine Motor Skills.

We offer a tiered ‘Group Pricing’ model to make our program more accessible, and cost-effective, for educating students, training faculty and supporting Occupational Therapists.

Within this model, each enrollee gains access to the program, with their own personal log-in credentials, for instant access – anywhere:

• 1 to 9 Accounts: $997 (average cost, per enrollee: $111| a 24% discount, compared to individual pricing)
• 10 to 25 Accounts: $2,297 (average cost, per enrollee: $92 | a 37% discount, compared to individual pricing)
• 26 to 50 Accounts: $3,997 (average cost, per enrollee: $80 | a 46% discount, compared to individual pricing)

Absolutely! However, the 12-month access is tied to the organization’s contract, not an individual enrollee’s start date. It’s helpful to have a relatively clear idea, upon enrolling, of who the program will be offered to – and for how long.

For example, a school might have 10 Kindergarten students, supported by IEPs, using the Handwork program from September through December, while 25 other students will use it during the summer between Kindergarten and First Grade to support ‘readiness.’

As long as the total number of enrollees, during the 12 months, does not exceed the allowed maximum, for your purchased tier, you can add enrollees, at any time.

Definitely! If you realize there’s more need, than previously expected, you can upgrade to a higher tier, at any time, during the 12-month period. Simply contact us directly, via email, and we’ll help you adjust your plan.

Once an organization purchases the program, they will submit a CSV file, containing the names and email addresses of the enrollees designated to receive access.

Upon receiving this information, we will send each enrollee an email with instructions on how to create their personal log-in credentials, granting them access to the full program.
Their access will last for the entirety of the organization’s 12 month contract.

[ex: If a school joins February 1, but a student begins access June 1, this student will have unlimited access to the program between June 1- January 31]

For sure! This Handwork course is perfect for summer programs, or summer enrichment, at home, particularly for rising First Graders who will benefit from Fine Motor Skill development, and foundational Handwork instruction, which inherently (and creatively!) supports pre-literacy and pre-numeracy.

This program is also well-suited for second year Kindergarten students, who might need additional support with self-regulation, focus, Fine-Motor development and sitting still for longer periods of time.

As a school, offering this kind of complimentary value-ad, to an enrolled body of students, is a very attractive and strategic upgrade to parents who might not have been able to access this kind of support or education for their children, otherwise. 

This is particularly effective with private play-based early childhood programs, where there might be speculative concern around Kindergarten ‘readiness,’ if their graduating students are moving into public programs, in the Fall.
